Living on a Goat Farm

Be diligent to know the state of your flocks, And attend to your herds; For riches are not forever, Nor does a crown endure to all generations. When the hay is removed, and the tender grass shows itself, and the herds of the mountains are gathered in, The lambs will provide your clothing, And the goats the price of a field; You shall have enough goat's milk for your food, For the food of your household, And the nourishment of your maidservants. IT'S A GIRL!!!



This little cutie came sometime yesterday. We were all quite surprised because according to the vet none of the goats were due till mid- January.She loves to drink which is nice because sometimes they can be quite stubborn.

Benji is quite enamoured with her and loves to touch her.All tuckered out from lots of attention.
She is only staying in the house for a little while :(
Then she has to go out to the barn again.
