Be diligent to know the state of your flocks, And attend to your herds; For riches are not forever, Nor does a crown endure to all generations. When the hay is removed, and the tender grass shows itself, and the herds of the mountains are gathered in, The lambs will provide your clothing, And the goats the price of a field; You shall have enough goat's milk for your food, For the food of your household, And the nourishment of your maidservants. Prov. 27:23-27

Puppies!!!

Yup - Lady gave birth to seven puppies on Friday! (Well eight, but one died.)
Lady is a golden retriever and the father (who lives down the road) is a huskey-german shepherd. As you can see, they all look much more like their father than their mother.
They are very tiny but pudgy :) I'll post more pictures when they open their eyes (in a week or so.)

Man I wish our dog would get on the ball... but sad to say I don't think there's much hope anymore. :-(

Oh Dear! I'm not sure your family needed the extra "birth" considering how busy you are already !
Cute though!
No puppies here thankfully!
